Look at the article on why textbooks are bad. I've known this for years and kept far away from them. Only on desperate days when I run out of ideas do I pick them up.
They are heavy, expensive and do not provide the tools this generation will need to survive.
But then why do most teachers and many parents love them??????
Oh My God, I can forget about that job in Macmillan for next year!!!!!!!!
