For and since for year 4

ENGLISH GRAMMAR (for, since, ever, never)(Thanks MRT English)

Hi my dear bloggers, I'm going to write about these two grammar words and try to explain the different meanings of uses of  all of them.

Hola mis queridos bloggers, voy a escribir sobre estas cuatro palabras gramaticales y a tratar de explicar los diferentes significados y usos de todas ellas. .

These words show you that we're working with the Present perfect tense

FOR:  durante
SINCE:  desde
EVER:  alguna vez (en frases interrogativas)
NEVER:  nunca.

 Since my birthday Desde mi cumpleañosFor a month:  durante un mes  /  Since 2001:  desde 2001.
INTENTAD APRENDER ESTO y os será mucho más fácil la utilización de estas dos palabras.

EVER:  alguna vez (en interrogativas)  NEVER:  nunca.
Ejemplo:  Have you ever eaten ants?  : ¿Has comido alguna vez hormigas?

*Es decir que si en una frase interrogativa necesitamos decir "alguna vez" siempre diremos EVER.
"NO CONFUNDIR con -algunas veces-  que es el adverbio de frecuencia: SOMETIMES y no tiene nada que ver.  En otra ocasión explicaré estos adverbios.

Si usamos EVER (alguna vez)  en preguntas, las respuestas negativas (nunca)  las haremos con NEVER.
Ejemplo:  Have you ever studied German? No, I have never studied German. > ¿Has estudiado alguna vez alemán? No, nunca he estudiado alemán.

Como en el caso anterior, APRENDED ESTOS SIGNIFICADOS y formas de uso y de esa manera ya tendréis mucho ganado.

*Debemos tener en cuenta que SIEMPRE que utilicemos en una frase NEVER, el verbo que usemos tiene que ir en AFIRMATIVO, no en negativo, porque la palabra NEVER es muy fuerte y hace que el  verbo no lleve negación.
