We're going to invent our own poems this week based on the models we looked at on Thirsday and Friday.
I enclose the success Criteria so you know what needs to be included. We'll discuss it together on Monday:
Success
Criteria for writing a great poem about the Romans

Must have at least three verses.

Must talk about a famous person from Roman Times
·
Must start each line with a capital letter.

Should follow a pattern I:e start with the same grammar structure
e.g I’m going or have some repetition
o
Should be well presented.
o
Should have at least 2 powerful adjectives
v Could Rhyme with the help of:
v Could have a metaphor e.g (he had a heart of gold, she was cold hearted)
v Could have a similie (He was as brave as a lion, he was as cunning
