January for Five year olds
Hi All
So this month we're working on winter vocabulary and making a mini-book with snow, snowball, snowman, coat, boots, scarf, ice, rain frozen, hat and winter colours.
We learned the poem
Two little blue birds
Two little blue birds sitting on a wall.
One called Peter, One called Paul.
Fly away Peter, Fly away Paul
Come back Peter, Come back Paul.
With a magic trick!!!
We are also learning a story called Its Too Noisy
by heart
It's about
A little girl and a little boy WHOOOOOOO went to stay with their grandma!!!!
We are also doing high frequency words like he, she, we, you they, and , I , all
We also learned a finger rhyme called
Here's the Church!!!
Here's the church. Here's the steeple.
Open the door and here's all the people
We did a The fruit song and next week we are going to try and eat some fruit each day as appears in the song
Monday-apple
Tuesday-pear
Wednesday-banana
Thursday- Whatever I want
Friday- strawberries
As you can see we have been really busy!!!!
