This week we will be working on the letter J and reading lots of stories with this letter.  Tomorrow we are going to make jelly.

Today we read a story about a wolf.   Ask your kids to tell you about the story at home.    

To teach small Spanish children to read we have to sing a lot and read with them to build up their vocabulary(syntactic and semantic approach) before attacking with the dreaded phonics.  So a story every day.  Predicting what will happen and talking about the characters.  Focusing on the structures and how the book is organized and retelling the story many times.
